The Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) is seeking experts in the fields of marketing, communications, advertising, graphic design and multimedia from outside and within the insurance industry to judge the 2017 IMCA Showcase Awards.

The IMCA Showcase Awards recognize the most effective and innovative work from the best minds in insurance marketing and communications. Now in its 59th year, the awards have been recognizing outstanding marketing and communications work in the insurance industry and promoting higher standards of excellence for seven decades. The awards are open to IMCA members as well as non-members.

“Our Showcase Awards judges get a unique opportunity to see some of the best marketing and communications work in the insurance industry,” said Anna Hargis, IMCA board chair and director of advertising at Shelter Insurance. “They get a front row seat to assess the creativity and high-quality deliverables of the various campaigns and projects submitted in our awards competition. We appreciate and applaud their efforts!”

Judging is conducted virtually of assigned entries from various categories through an online platform where judges are able to individually review and rate the admissions based on information and work samples provided. All judging will take place between April 14, 2017 and April 28, 2017.

An IMCA membership is not a requirement to be a Showcase Awards judge. To become a judge for this year’s awards program, simply complete the online application available via the IMCA website. The deadline to apply is March 3, 2017.
